WE BELIEVE: in Praise and Worship that exalts God,
encourages man, and bring him closer to God! It is written: "Enter
into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his
courts
with
praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name." [Psalms 100:4]
And this also: "But ye are a chosen
generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people;
that ye should shew forth the
praises
of
him who hath called you out
of
darkness into
his
marvellous light:" [1st Peter 2:9]
WE BELIEVE: in the PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE of The Church
of Jesus Christ! It is written: "Behold, I shew you a
mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be
changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall
be
raised incorruptible, and we shall
be
changed"
[1st Corinthians 15:51-52] And because it is written: "For God hath not
appointed
us to
wrath,
but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ," [1st Thessalonians 5:9]
WE BELIEVE: in the in-dwelling of
The Holy Spirit of God in man to empower him to do the work of God upon this
earth. We believe that like a battery in a car needs charging to cause a vehicle
to start and run, so The Holy Spirit of God needs The Hearing of The Word of God
and the gathering together of like-minded believers, to fully function in His
Power. It is written: "Not
forsaking
the
assembling
of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and
so much the more, as ye see the day approaching" [Hebrews 10:25]
WE BELIEVE: in everlasting life, that the soul of man is
eternal whether surviving in Heaven or in Hell it is eternal and that it is our
choice as to where we will spend that eternal life, for it is written: "The
Lord, [God] ................ [is] not
willing
that any should
perish,
but that all should come to repentance." [2nd Peter 3:9] And this
verse again from [John 3;16] "For
God
so
loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."
WE BELIEVE: in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead on the 3rd day after His death. It is an important fact in our salvation
for two reasons; 1- It is written: "For as Jonas was
three
days
and
three
nights in the whale’s
belly;
so shall the Son of man be
three
days
and
three
nights in the heart of the earth." [Matthew 3:40] and 2- Because we must confess
that belief to be saved. "That if thou shalt
confess
with
thy
mouth
the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. [Romans 10:9]
WE BELIEVE: that we are JUSTIFIED
[Just-As-If-I-Never-Sinned] by FAITH in the death, burial, and resurrection of
Jesus Christ, and we therefore have peace with God through that faith in
Him. It is written: "Therefore being
justified
by
faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:" [Romans 5:1]
The ole gospel song writer wrote; "What can wash away my sins? Nothing
but The Blood of Jesus!"
WE BELIEVE: that salvation is by
grace, through faith, PLUS NOTHING and MINUS NOTHING, for it is written: "For
by
grace
are ye saved through
faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
[Ephesians 2:8] We
believe: "But
without
faith
it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he
is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." [Hebrews
11:6]
WE BELIEVE: in the DEITY of Jesus Christ, The Messiah, The
Christ Child, born of THE VIRGIN Mary, because it written:
"God
is not a
man,
that he should
lie;"
[Numbers 23:19a] So when it is written in The Bible:
"Behold, a
virgin shall
be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." [Matthew 1:23] That
Virgin was named Mary and bore The Son of God, Jesus into this world present His
Father to us and then to die for
our sins! Jesus Christ Is The Son of God!
WE BELIEVE: in ONE GOD in three
personages; Jehovah God, The Father, Jesus Christ, The Only Begotten Son, and
God The Holy Spirit. His purpose in presenting Himself to man from the beginning
of his creation by Him is summed up in this verse:
"God
so
loved
the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."
[John 3:16]
WE BELIEVE: that "All
scripture
is
given
by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
[2nd Timothy 3:16] We Believe
that those that say 'God Doesn't Speak Anymore ARE WRONG! He speaks no less then
He always has. If they don't hear Him it is because of un-belief for it is
written; 'Call
unto me, and I will
answer
thee, and
shew
thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.' [Jeremiah 3:33] The Bible
is finished. There is no more to add to it, But God is still talking to
His Children!
WE BELIEVE:
"Without
shedding of
blood
is no
remission"
Hebrews: 9:22b. "Neither is there salvation in any
other:
for there is
none
other
name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts: 4:12
THAT
NAME IS JESUS; Who said: "I
am the
way,
the
truth,
and the
life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me!" John 14:6 And these
words from Jesus own lips: "Except
a man be
born
again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3:3 & "Marvel not that I
said unto thee, Ye must be
born
again."
John 3:7
WE BELIEVE: That "all have sinned and come short of The
Glory of God," as it is written in The Holy Bible in Romans: 3:23. We
believe that as it is written also: " There is none righteous, no not
one!" Romans: 3:10. We also believe that "The wages of sin is death,
BUT THE GIFT OF GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!"
Romans: 6:23. "BUT GOD commendeth [sent] His Love toward us, it that
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us! Romans: 5:8. God so Loved
YOU He gave His only begotten Son to die for YOUR sins. John: 3:16
